13 May Fourth Commandment
“Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy” (Ex 20:8). Sabbath means to “cease,” from work, some need physical rest, others mental rest. “The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath” (Mk 2:27). It is a command that is still in effect for us today (Ex 31:16). Saturday was sacred in the OT, after Easter in the NT, Sunday became sacred. It doesn’t matter which day of the week you rest, but rest, honor the command and refresh your soul.
