The Tenth Commandment

The Tenth Commandment

Not Covet

Don’t Covet

“You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his manservant or maidservant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.”(Ex 20:17)

To Covet means to: “set the heart upon, long for, have earnest desire, to lust after”

This week take inventory of what God has blessed you with, giving Him thanks for each one. “And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus”(Phil. 4:19). Don’t covet but be content with what you have.
